Hi all!

First I'd like to wish you all a very happy new year, may all of you stay healthy and saved from bad happenings. Let 2008 be a very artistic year!!

2008 didn't start very well for me, well not for my dad actually. He went to play tennis with my boyfriend and my brother in law yesterday. I don't know how he did it anyway, but he managed to get his Achilles' tendon ripped for 95%. There was like this one fiber keeping the two parts together, the doctor said. So my boyfriend brought him to the ER, meanwhile I was working on cardiology and got the message from my mom that dad was in the hopsital. I went to check up on him and was told he had to get immediate surgery. I rolled him in OR myself
He has a plaster for 6-8 weeks now. Everyone's happy it went all well, but my dad's a little sad, because he has bought a new car and within 2 weeks the car will arrive, so he was sooo looking forward to that, and now he won't be able to drive it.

So much for my dad, now about me I'll be leaving my parents house around March 1st, then I will be living together with my boyfriend in an appartment. I'm very looking forward to that! Especially because the appartment is like 1 street away from the hospital, so we'll only need the cost of one car and I can sleep a bit longer

So well that was a little update on me, for the artistic part, I'm thinking about starting to learn how to draw comics, or 'realistic comics'. But I'm superbad at telling or writing stories...
